You have been thinking about it for a while. A question that keeps circling back. A decision that feels heavier than it should. Something you cannot quite name but cannot quite put down either. And then you order a reading. So, what happens next?

It starts with you

Before I touch a single card, the reading is already yours. When you place your order, you choose a number of cards yourself. Not me. You. You pick three numbers for a three-card spread, or ten for a Celtic Cross, each one between 1 and 78. You choose intuitively, quickly, without overthinking it.

This is not a technicality. It is the whole point.

When I read in person, I always let the person asking the question draw their own cards. Their hands, their moment, their reading. The numbers you choose from home are the same gesture, just across a distance. You are still the one reaching into the deck. The cards you land on are yours.

You also leave your question. Write it however it comes to you — messy, uncertain, half-formed. That is fine. Sometimes the most honest questions are the ones that do not have tidy edges yet.

Then I get to work

Once your order comes in, I sit with your question and your cards. I draw the cards that correspond to your numbers, lay them out in the spread you chose, and read the story they form together.

I look at how the cards speak to each other. What they emphasise. Where the tension sits, and where the openings are. I read your spread in the context of your question, and I write it all down in a personal reading that is yours and yours alone.

Within three working days, your reading arrives in your inbox as a PDF. Something you can return to, read slowly, sit with over a cup of tea. Not a notification to scroll past. A document to come back to.

The two spreads and how to choose

If you are not sure which spread is right for you, here is a simple way to think about it.

The three-card spread looks at past, present and future. It is focused, direct, and good for a specific question or moment. If you know what you want to ask, this is often the place to start.

The Celtic Cross goes deeper. Ten cards, ten layers of perspective. It looks at the heart of the matter, what is working for you and against you, your hopes, your fears, and where things are heading. If your question has more weight to it, or if you want to understand a situation from every angle, this is the spread for that.

Neither is better. They are just different tools for different moments.

A note on what a reading is, and what it is not

A tarot reading is not a prediction. I will not tell you what will happen, because no one can, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something you do not need.

What a reading can do is help you see more clearly. It can surface what you already know but have not quite let yourself acknowledge. It can offer a new angle on something you have been staring at from the same direction for too long. It can give you language for something that has only existed as a feeling until now. Sometimes that is exactly enough.

What comes later

For now, readings are delivered as a personal PDF by email. In time, live video readings will be available for those who want the real-time conversation. And further down the road, in-person readings too.
